Bite-Size Karaage Chicken Dresses Up Your Christmas Party

During the holiday season, chicken takes the lead role of a party. But you can go one step further and create fun-filled Christmas dishes with Day Lee Pride Karaage Chicken.

Karaage Chicken Christmas Tree

Ingredients (Serves 4)
□ 15-20 Day Lee Pride Karaage Chicken
□ 12 mini sweet tomatoes (multi color optional)
□ 2 sliced cheese of your choice
□ 1/4 yellow bell pepper
□ 2 stalks broccoli
□ Red and green toothpicks
□ Long skewer made out of bamboo or wood

Directions
1. In a big pot, bring water to a boil, and quickly blanch broccoli for 1 minute.
2. Put cooked broccoli in an ice bath and chill.
3. Drain the broccoli stalks and let them dry well with paper towels.
4. Cook Day Lee Pride Karaage Chicken according to the instructions on the package.
5. Cut out the cheese into star shapes using star shaped cookie cutter. You can cut out 3-4 stars per each slice.
6. Cut out bell pepper into a flower using a flower shaped cookie cutter.
7. Put small stones, pebbles or any grains such as rice into a cup or a ramekin and insert larger broccoli with stalk. If it’s not sitting well, add additional filler.
8. Cut the stalk of the remaining broccoli and put it on top of the first broccoli crown. Using a skewer (You probably need a long one used for BBQ) and stabilize the second broccoli by piercing through the center from the top.


9. To top off the broccoli tree, insert flower shaped yellow pepper. Cut off any remaining pieces of skewer sticking out from the flower.
10. Pierce each tomato and karaage chicken with red and green toothpicks.
11. Decorate the broccoli tree with tomatoes and Karaage Chicken on toothpicks by inserting them into the broccoli crowns.
12. Finish the tree with cheese stars.

TIP  You can serve this with your favorite sauce for dipping. Everything is edible including the Christmas tree, a perfect healthy Holiday treat for everyone. Feel free to add more edible goodness decorations! Happy Holidays!


Karaage Stuffed Red and Green Peppers

Ingredients (Serves 2-3)
□ 1 red pepper
□ 1 green pepper
□ 15-20 Day Lee Pride Karaage Chicken
□ 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
□ 2 oz cream cheese
□ 1 tbsp milk
□ 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper

Directions
1. Cut green and red peppers lengthwise into halves and take out the seeds.
2. Put one half of each of the green and red peppers on a microwave safe plate and cover with plastic wrap. Microwave for 1 minute.
3. Finely chop the other half of each pepper and set them aside.
4. Cook Day Lee Foods’ karaage chicken according to the instructions on the package.
5. Put cream cheese in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 10 seconds.
6. Add milk and black pepper and mix well.
7. Put the cream cheese mixture into a small plastic bag and set it aside.
8. Put red and green peppers into a serving dish. Fill each one with cooked Karaage Chicken and top them with finely chopped red onion.
9. For red pepper cup, top with finely chopped green pepper and for green pepper cup, top with finely chopped red pepper.
10. Cut a very small slit at the corner of the plastic bag with cream cheese mixture.
11. Squeeze the cream cheese mixture on top of each pepper in zig zag pattern and serve.
