New York, New York (July 6th, 2010) -- From July 21st to July 25th, TABLE FOR TWO International (TFT) will host a series of events in New York City marking its arrival in the USA. In our world of almost 7 billion, 1 billion suffer from hunger and malnutrition, while another 1 billion face obesity, diabetes, and other health issues related to "overnutrition." TFT is a nonprofit organization that seeks to right this imbalance by simultaneously addressing two opposing problems with a simple meal. When a healthy TFT-branded meal is purchased, 20 cents is donated to feed one child in the developing world a healthy school meal.

1. Lecture at Japan Society - TABLE FOR TWO: Connecting the world by sharing meals

2. Kinokuniya : Book discussion　
Date: Thursday, July 22, 2010 Time: 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Place: Books Kinokuniya 2F event-space (1073 Avenue of the Americas New York,NY10018)
Subject: Masa Kogure, Director of TFT International, will speak about his experiences, hopes and struggles when he launched his new business. He will introduce his top selling book (several weeks at #1 and #15 on the social welfare best-seller list).

3. Japan Block Fair
Date: Sunday, July 25, 2010 Time: 11:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Place: Astoria, Queens (on Broadway, from Steinway to 47th street)
Subject: Street fair featuring a wide range of Japanese food and products, from modern cuisine to one-of-a-kind works of art. Free live music will be performed. Select venders will participate in the TFT program. Masa Kogure, Director of TFT International, will speak about TFT on the main stage around noon and again around 1:30 PM.
