The live-action remake of Grave of the Fireflies is playing at this years festival? I'm going!
Ghibli Fan [09/24/17:06]
Why would they bother making a live-action remake of this animated classic when they got it right the first time! There's no reason to remake this >:-(
Minilla [09/25/08:26]
Honestly, I think it could work better as a live-action film. Why was it even animated in the first place?
Criterion Fan [09/25/12:43]
Film critic, Roger Ebert, brought up a very good argument as to why it's actually better as an animated film than live-action in his review. I think you should check it out on YouTube, Minilla.
Fed Up With It [09/25/16:32]
Y'know, there are other great films playing at this festival besides the live-action remake of "Graves", people.
