Kimono for Kids

My daughter wants to be a "dead geisha" for this Halloween. Where can I buy a black "dead looking" kimono costume? If not I'm going have to make it somehow. Any suggestions?

Have you tried the zakka place in front of Mitsuwa in NJ?
I think I've seen the black kimono there, but I don't know about "dead looking",though.
They might be import one for you if you ask the owner, Yuri.

Kyotoya and Kimono Lily have vintage kimono. I am not so sure if they have ones appropriate for costume.

Kimono lily - you can google and find their on-line site. They do have children's kimono.

Good luck!

Thanks for the tip. I went to both but they did not have the look what my daughter was looking for the "dead" look. I don't even know where she gets this kind of ideas, but it seems that I'm making the dress for her.
